Dear Friends: Please join with me in celebrating the 35th anniversary of Sensory Spectrum, Inc. And what a ride it has been.
Our early beginnings were in my home with Clare Dus as our first employee, two teenagers and a schedule that my husband, Frank and I balanced very well on a paper calendar for years. At school events our friends commented that we had the only single parent family with a married couple – one of us, but rarely both, was at each school event.
Then 15 years in Chatham, NJ with up to 13 employees and two or three panels in 1300 square feet. Currently we have 150+ employees across 7 states – and in keeping with our mission we are still making a difference and having fun.
I am proud of the work we have done for our clients and for the sensory community – we are committed to sharing our insights and knowledge through our courses, trainings, presentations, and the well-worn Sensory Evaluation Techniques book – now on the brink of its 6th edition.
Along the way we have made great friends in the sensory and R&D communities – they bring joy and laughs and learning and shared moments at ASTM, SSP, SCC, IFT and more venues.
